Call for Papers

Atslēgvārdi / Keywords, a new interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed online journal for historians and social scientists in the Baltic States, invites researchers to submit proposals for articles for the second issue of the journal.

The theme of the issue is Multiple Pasts, Uncertain Futures.  The purpose is to increase the visibility and audibility of alternative and/ or marginalized narratives of the past and future of the Baltic States and to invite discussion about the various attempts to render such narratives audible and visible. Collective memory and individual memory, competing narratives of history and society, strategies of remembrance and oblivion in the politics and culture of the Baltic States are all topics of interest for this issue.

Preference will be given to articles with interdisciplinary approach.
